We recently announced the release of our acoustic 7″ titled “Pull the plug”. Those of you who follow us on Twitter might have heard about it already: the 7″ is finished and we’re damn proud of it. The first pressing comes with a lovely, screen printed sleeve and pink or black vinyl. Check it out:

Our very first podcast! A radio show in Erfurt (DE), where we played some acoustic songs and talked about life on the road, Germany, the UK, USA, kids, Propagandhi, Descendents and more. 11 minutes for your listening pleasure.

Back on our last tour, we played a show in the lovely city of Erfurt (Germany). During sound check, we were asked if we would like to come down to a radio show. Of course we would!

We ended up having a talk with Andre for Radio F.R.E.I, a local independent radio station. He has been doing a punk/hardcore related show called ‘Less talk, more rock’ for almost 10 years now. We decided to sit down, have a talk and play some acoustic versions of our songs.

The interview covers subjects such as:

– how touring the UK is uncomfortable, “not being nice to bands” .. sorry English friends!
– how Germany is “heaven on earth for touring bands”
– spending 16 hours on the road in the USA
– how we “never planned to play Germany”

And Yvo has some words to say about how “kids are so inspiring”, his oldest son dancing to Descendents, his favorite band being Propagandhi.

Release acoustic 7”
In March we recorded 4 songs (2 old, 2 new) on acoustic guitars and percussion. We’re very happy with the result and are proud that Shield Recordings and No Reason Records release them as the “Pull the Plug” 7”. The release date is set on July 5. If you want to get colored vinyl and a chance to win a test pressing, pre-order the single at shield recordings . It will also be available as a download from July 5 just like our debut album “Silencing Civilization”. The EP will include a download code for MP3’s and will first be available at our acoustic show at Knoflook in Den Bosch (NL) together with Mischief Brew, aka our acoustic EP release show. Furthermore we are really busy and actually past halfway writing a new album that we will record in October and will be released early 2010. Labels get in touché! Is your weather as great as ours? Hopefully it is. But, what's your excuse to sit behind a computer then? Ah wel … this is my excuse:

This weekend we will be playing the Give It A Name Fest in Italy, Milano. We'd love to invite all Italians to come over, but we simply don't have all your email addresses. Therefore No Reason Records put our new album temporarily as a stream on their website to promote our show at Give It A Name. If you are Italian and want to read about us in your native language go here, Noize Italia did an interview with us.

For our tour in June we're still missing some dates for which we'd love to have shows. Please check the show section and let us know if you're able and willling to help us out. Would be much appreciated! In our own little country we keep on getting more and more shows confirmed. See the same show section for details.
