All good things must come to an end! It was kei tof releasing a Dutch EP, doing our biggest national tour yet and seeing people either singing along to our Dutch lyrics or being flabbergasted by butchered classic Dutch songs. But time has come to visit Canada and present a new single!

Hall Of Mirrors

This is an odd one, as it was recorded during the Big Dog Recordings Pizza Session! A weekend long recording session for their 10 year anniversary compilation. Our new single Hall of Mirrors is an early-AFI-inspired track about the shifting perspectives of protest; who is on your side and who isn’t? Check Hall of Mirrors music & video!

Recorded by Tim van Doorn at Big Dog Recordings obviously, recording session music video by Seppe Dausi. The compilation album will be out digitally and on vinyl July 1st via White Russian Records. Also featuring Tusky, Batwölf, F.O.D., Loud Love, Mike Noegraf, St. Plaster, Charlie Bit My Finger, Craig’s Brother, Harsh Realms and Bridle. All profits go to Dog Rescue Greece. Big love for Big Dog!

25 Years Anniversay

We’re celebrating a quarter century of our band this year. With new music, a lot of shows and even a book! We’ve started sharing throwbacks to the last 25 years and all the things we have done. We really love the process of song writing. Collecting ideas, combining them and playing with options is an underestimated creative outlet. Learning how other people write music and arrange parts never gets old either, that’s why we love having and doing guest appearances.

So when Lee from Hike The Peak asked me (Willem) not just to do guest vocals but really write lyrics and add a vocal line for their instrumental track I immediately confirmed. The track “Reach The Top” is out now, as a double A side single featuring Judo Chop! Hike The Peak – Reach The Top on Bandcamp, Spotify and YouTube.

Hike The Peak is a pandemic project of a group of musicians inviting singers of other bands to take care of lyrics and vocals. They have worked together with (singers of) bands like Darko, Coral Springs, St Plaster, For I Am, Rebuke, Acid Snot, Kill The President, The Affect Heuristic, No Contest, Hoof, Laughing In the Face Of, Absolute, From The Tracks and many more!
