The lovely people at IDIOTEQ asked us to write a report on the last couple of shows we did (KNRD Fest ao) while reflecting on being a band for 25 years. They molded it into a really fun read, if we may say so?
About the importance of community and playing JUZ’s and festivals like KNRD, about the ongoing relevance of older political songs, about what keeps us going after all this time, and more…
TOGETHER came out a month ago, and feedback has been overwhelming to say the least! Besides album reviews this newsletter includes a TOGETHER merch re-print pre-order. Shirts sold so fast that we’re getting more, if you want a smaller or bigger size, this is your chance to get one. Last but not least: the announcement of a bunch of fresh fall shows!
After not releasing physical music for 7 years, we were a bit anxious how people would respond to a new album. But holy shit, reactions were unbelievable! From both individual listeners and The Media! Check some reviews below!
All full of hooks, all with decent speed, nice and compact. […] Together is an energetic appeal to solidarity, cohesion and friendship. The band is vehemently opposed to capitalism, racism or homophobia and fights for animal rights and tolerance. An important move at a time when hatred and distrust rule and wars and environmental destruction are spreading
– Ox Fanzine
Together is chock full of punk anthems. I for one will be purchasing ‘Together’ and delving headlong into their back catalogue for more gems. I’d suggest you do the same
Together is an outstanding album that should be on every punk rocker’s playlist. Antillectual have delivered another powerful record that combines irresistible melodies with a politically-charged message. With Together, Antillectual has shown that punk rock can still be relevant, forceful, and inspirational, showcasing that art can make a positive change
If the reviews warmed you up to hear the album or form an opinion of your own, you can still support us via a physical purchase of an LP, CD or tape (almost sold out though), or a package with a shirt (30 euro) or 2 albums (20-25 euro) via our web store. For that authentic digital experience pick your streaming service of choice!
Because the TOGETHER shirts sold like crazy we will be doing a new run! Heads up: smaller and bigger sizes are only available for pre-order, will not be in stock afterwards, and orders need to be in before Friday June 30. Thanks for your support!
People singing along to the new songs live is incredible! Let’s scream our lungs out together at one of these:

Antillectual is joining the Loud Noise band roster for their Benelux and European bookings (Germany excluded). A hard working and touring band and an ambitious booking agency that is spreading their wings sound like a perfect match.
Loud Noise is the Netherlands’ biggest booking agency for loud music. They are the European home to bands like Metal Church, Turnstile, Angel Dust, No Turning Back, VandenBerg’s Moonkings, No Warning and many more. Next to bookings Loud Noise hosts festivals like The Sound of Revolution, Dynamo Metalfest and Cityrock. Also, the Loud & Rising tour is a Loud Noise initiative to support up and coming bands. Singer/guitarist Willem reflects:
“We’re celebrating ten years on the road, having toured most European countries and most continents. With our new album ENGAGE out worldwide and Loud Noise on our side we can take our international adventures to the next level”
Martijn van den Heuvel represents Antillectual at Loud Noise. Martijn knows the punk and hardcore scene like no other as singer of No Turning Back and founder of Stronger Bookings. After merging with Loud Noise they established the strongest Dutch heavy music agency.

Oops we did it again … We’re #34 in the Dutch music export report 2013 by Buma Cultuur, including honorable mention! Dutch newspaper NRC wrote this about it (and linked one of our very first tour reports). Sorry, Dutch content.
Others rated in the report (what a company!): Tiësto, Jacco Gardner, Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, Tim Vantol, No Turning Back, The Partysquad, Dope D.O.D. and many others …
Better late than never, especially when it’s a killer review like this one: Punknews.org wrote a review of our latest album “Perspectives & Objectives”. The people who coined the term “orgcore” gave us 4 out of 5 stars and As melodic Europunk goes, this band has to be up near the top of the pile. Read for yourself
Related to the latter, and old news to those who receive our newsletter: we recently released “Perspectives & Objectives” as a pay-what-you-like download. For those interested in physical copies, check our webshop, or for cheap shipping to North America and Australia check the A-F Records store.
