We LOVE going new places, especially places we never expected to play our music and/or where punk rock music is less common. This November we get the chance to play 4 shows in Turkey; in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir. We’re looking forward a lot to making new friends and checking out the Turkish scene. Extreme right wing ideologies are growing. Alt-right, identitarian movements and populism are proof that the far right wing is on the rise again. Just to be clear: we think that’s a bad thing. A Polish-Swedish passerby (whose mother had been sent to Auschwitz) could no longer resist swinging her handbag at the nazis. On July 9 we will release our next single! If You’re Not Outraged is a faster and more aggressive song than our last singles. The lyrical content deals with the rise of the anti-fascist movement and its actions, responding to the growth of extreme right sentiments, and how antifascism seems to trigger critical reactions while being a positive force. Our friend and designer Ruben Swieringa created the artwork.
