We’re excited as hell because we’ve got a new single for you! After releasing Together in 2023 we’ve been steadily working on new music. WHOSE STREETS? OUR STREETS! is the first of a new singles series!

WHOSE SINGLE? OUR SINGLE!

The release continues where we left off with Together. An uptempo, melodic track, the type that we love to write and play. Thematically this song deals with our public space and how “public” it is these days. Dedicated to everyone that lives on the streets and depends on public services and accommodation for their daily life and livelihood. And to anyone that can’t find a public bathroom, is fined for drinking in public or gets kicked out of a skate spot.

The music video footage is taken from the New Road Sessions episode we recently shot, more about that soon! The audio is recorded and mixed by Tim van Doorn at Big Dog Recordings and mastered by Nico van Montfort at XPZ Sound.

Deutschland & Die Schweiz

Behold, this is a big one! If you apply the right standards this will be our biggest tour through Germany and Switzerland! We’re really looking forward to return to cities we’ve been playing for ages like Hamburg, Berlin and Hannover. But we’re equally excited to make our debut in cities like Bottrop, Oerlinghausen and finally play Switzerland again!

Shirt

With a new tour poster comes new merch! The beautiful design was created by Daggers Design and we couldn’t NOT make shirts of it! You can (pre-)order them via our web shop. Packages will be sent out before the tour starts on Feb 20.

Fresh Release

What better excuse to go on the road again than new music?! We’re eager to share our new single WHOSE STREETS? OUR STREETS! on February 18! A tiny toot from our own little horn: this new song is a skate punk anthem about our public space, how “public” it is these days, and who gets to use it. Where gentrification, hostile architecture and skate punk culture meet. Let’s crack a beer to that! (You’ll get that reference once you hear the song…)

TOGETHER came out a month ago, and feedback has been overwhelming to say the least! Besides album reviews this newsletter includes a TOGETHER merch re-print pre-order. After working on it for 7 years we can finally present TOGETHER! This record became an extensive project, with single releases starting in 2018, a lineup change, 3 recording sessions in 2 different studios, and then the pandemic… We’re incredibly satisfied with the final result, hopefully you too!

Lyrically

Togetherness is the thread that’s weaving through all songs. Capturing the feeling that current day problems can’t be solved if we don’t fight them with combined forces. The release is a Do It Together cooperation of twenty-plus labels by music industry friends we made over the years. All previous digital singles are included in the tracklist. Since the creation of the record was an extensive project we put extra effort into molding the album into a whole. We’re also thrilled that Ian Legge aka the Punk Cellist contributed to Helping Hands! Enough reasons to check TOGETHER in its entirety:

Digitally

We created a landing page with TOGETHER on all platforms and lyrics and liner notes. As always: feel free to add tracks to playlists, follow/like/comment via your favorite DSP and forward it to people with an excellent taste in music. The album is called TOGETHER for a reason!

Physically

One of the advantages of releasing an album instead of individual tracks are the LPs, CDs and tapes featuring the beautiful artwork by Thomas at Dark Roast. Eco friendly, 180gr, transparent green vinyl in gatefold sleeves, digipak CDs, and 25 hand numbered tapes. We also have discount bundles with older albums and shirts.
