New Single

On July 9 we will release our next single! If You’re Not Outraged is a faster and more aggressive song than our last singles. The lyrical content deals with the rise of the anti-fascist movement and its actions, responding to the growth of extreme right sentiments, and how antifascism seems to trigger critical reactions while being a positive force. Our friend and designer Ruben Swieringa created the artwork.

New Merch

With a new single comes new merch! Thomas from Dark Roast designed a shirt to go with the theme of the single, which can be pre-ordered. Orders will be with you on July 9 and come with a download of the new single. As always: all shirts and prints are organic, fairtrade and vegan.

Guitar Tutorial Series

Hopefully you all had an incredible summer with lots of music and nice weather! We had an amazing time releasing Heads You Win, Tails We Lose and playing festivals all over Europe to spread our new single. We will release our new single “The Invisible Hand Meets the Visible Fist” on October 30! Musically it might seem a mellow track but its content is heavy nonetheless:

“In a world where politicians govern their nations as companies, citizens are reduced to customers. We are left with little more influence than our spendings. Let’s use that mechanism and “celebrate” the crisis’ 10th birthday by making our purchases with even more care about who we support financially. We, the extras in the neoliberal narrative, should address them in the only language they understand and let our money do the talking. Strategic purchases, consumer strikes and boycotting companies whose policies we don’t agree with are our only bribe to get a foot in the door. Show the invisible hand of the market the visible fist of the people. Merry 10 year crisiversary!”

Finally we can present you music from our new album “ENGAGE!”. And as a bonus you can now pre-order our new album!

“Racist Rash” is the first single from “ENGAGE!” and it seems like a good first representation since there’s quite a few faster songs on the album. The song clearly deals with the racism that is still omnipresent in our culture, sports, traditions, policies, etc. The song clearly deals with the racism that is still omnipresent in our culture, sports, traditions, policies, etc. These days a Dutch celebrity (Sylvana Simons) gets heavily attacked because of her skin color and her anti-racist criticism. These days a “normal” European country like Austria might elect an extreme right President. Racism is not an opinion or an ideology, it’s a crime to be convicted or a disease to be cured at best.

The video was shot (at the famous “Onderbroek”), directed and edited by Harko Wubs, a political film and documentary director and producer, who is active in the field of migration, refugee and border issues.
