You may have noticed it, but we are extremely excited about our new album “ENGAGE!”. We’re equally excited about its release show though. We have amazing bands accompanying us that day: Such Gold, who are a newer band that is making kick ass records, which we used as influences while creating our new album. And of course Strike Anywhere.
We grew up on Strike Anywhere’s albums and both their music and their lyrics had impact on our lives. We played together more than once, to use an understatement, our paths have crossed all over Europe. All this is reason enough to be excited to have them on our release show. “But there’s more!”
Last October we did a small tour with Thomas (singer of Strike Anywhere) his other band, Great Collapse. It was nice to be out on the road together, hang out on a regular basis. This led to another reason why we’re excited to have Thomas and Strike Anywhere play our release show: Thomas contributed guest vocals for the song “Europe, This Is Your Final Countdown”!
We’re beyond excited to let you know that Bird Attack Records will release our new album “ENGAGE!” in North America! To celebrate this we’ve decided to put another new song out there. Below is the lyric video for “Appetite for Construction”. At Bird Attack Records we’re joining a great family consisting of bands like Belvedere Band, Guttermouth, MUTE and many more from all over the world. Bird Attack Records is the last addition to our release team consisting of Redfield Records, Waterslide Records and FUSA RECORDS, making it a worldwide release!
Enjoy, like and share! Pre-orders still available through our web shop.
Finally we can present you music from our new album “ENGAGE!”. And as a bonus you can now pre-order our new album!
“Racist Rash” is the first single from “ENGAGE!” and it seems like a good first representation since there’s quite a few faster songs on the album. The song clearly deals with the racism that is still omnipresent in our culture, sports, traditions, policies, etc. The song clearly deals with the racism that is still omnipresent in our culture, sports, traditions, policies, etc. These days a Dutch celebrity (Sylvana Simons) gets heavily attacked because of her skin color and her anti-racist criticism. These days a “normal” European country like Austria might elect an extreme right President. Racism is not an opinion or an ideology, it’s a crime to be convicted or a disease to be cured at best.
The video was shot (at the famous “Onderbroek”), directed and edited by Harko Wubs, a political film and documentary director and producer, who is active in the field of migration, refugee and border issues.

On July 29 we will release our new album “ENGAGE!”. Living in a world that is coping with conflicts and crises it is time to engage! Critical times call for critical music.
We have taken a completely new approach to creating and perfecting this album. For the (pre)production of the new album we’ve worked with a dream team covering the loud music area from left to right, from poppy to obscure. Songs are more fine-tuned than before; even more thought and effort is being put in. Of course there is still that typical Antillectual flavor. Yet, you will find that new toppings and deeper layers have been added, which you will discover after taking some more bites from the new Antillectual pizza. To top it off: very interesting guest vocalists make their appearance on “ENGAGE!”.
The album comes out in Europe through Redfield Records (Gameface, Kids Insane, John Coffey), in Asia through Waterslide Records (Literature, Steve Adamyk Band, Bangers) and in South America through Fusa Records (Nitrominds, Adrenalized, Kacttus).
Music video “Racist Rash”
On May 23 we will release the first single from the album: “Racist Rash”. Album pre-orders will start on the same day. The video is shot by documentary filmmaker Harko Wubs. To give you an impression of what the video will be like you can check the trailer for the music video!
