Dutch ENGAGE tour
To end the year we will play a couple of shows in our own country, something
we don’t do very often. We’re happy to go north, west, south and east and play
with local heroes and special guests everywhere! To end the “Dutch ENGAGE
tour” we will celebrate our homecoming at Friends First Fest in our hometown
Nijmegen, something we only do once a year! For all these shows we’ll bring
new merch and new covers!
We haven’t figured out yet what colors will be in fashion next winter,
therefor we offer you “Custom ENGAGE Pre-orders”! For those of you that asked
us if we have the ENGAGE merch in format X, size X and/or color X: you can now
create your own unique custom combination! Choose your preferences and we will
make it happen! Pre-orders close November 25, items will ship December 9.
You might have read about it in our social media: we’re excited as little kids
to return to Latin America, go to new countries and share this experience with
the Satanic Surfers!
This is the announcement we’ve been dying to share with you, and the title is pretty self-explanatory, right? Two things to scratch off our bucket list at once:
return to Latin America and this time go to more places than “just” Brazil!
share the stage with the legendary Satanic Surfers for the first time by touring together!
Finally we can present you music from our new album “ENGAGE!”. And as a bonus you can now pre-order our new album!
“Racist Rash” is the first single from “ENGAGE!” and it seems like a good first representation since there’s quite a few faster songs on the album. The song clearly deals with the racism that is still omnipresent in our culture, sports, traditions, policies, etc. The song clearly deals with the racism that is still omnipresent in our culture, sports, traditions, policies, etc. These days a Dutch celebrity (Sylvana Simons) gets heavily attacked because of her skin color and her anti-racist criticism. These days a “normal” European country like Austria might elect an extreme right President. Racism is not an opinion or an ideology, it’s a crime to be convicted or a disease to be cured at best.
The video was shot (at the famous “Onderbroek”), directed and edited by Harko Wubs, a political film and documentary director and producer, who is active in the field of migration, refugee and border issues.
Pre-order “ENGAGE!”
As of today you can pre-order our new album. We created some fun bundles for you:
The “artwork flag” is a 1x1m full color bisonyl flag with the album artwork printed on it.
“Antillecu-Ale beer” is a limited edition beer by breweries Katjelam and De Gifbeker in celebration of our new album. A tasty beer based on the Netherlands’ best and most organic beer, Germany’s most energizing soft drink and nature’s best remedy to vocal troubles. Proceeds will go to Viva Con Agua, an organization from St Pauli in Hamburg improving drinking water supply in developing countries. The stock is like a beer in your hand: while supplies last.
You can also pre-order the album on iTunes and Amazon.
All pre-order bundles include:
– Instant download of the single “Racist Rash”
– 3 handwritten/personalized song download postcards you can send to your friends
– A unique, one-of-a-kind picture of us on the road (by Tom Roelofs)
– Posters, stickers and other goodies

On July 29 we will release our new album “ENGAGE!”. Living in a world that is coping with conflicts and crises it is time to engage! Critical times call for critical music.
We have taken a completely new approach to creating and perfecting this album. For the (pre)production of the new album we’ve worked with a dream team covering the loud music area from left to right, from poppy to obscure. Songs are more fine-tuned than before; even more thought and effort is being put in. Of course there is still that typical Antillectual flavor. Yet, you will find that new toppings and deeper layers have been added, which you will discover after taking some more bites from the new Antillectual pizza. To top it off: very interesting guest vocalists make their appearance on “ENGAGE!”.
The album comes out in Europe through Redfield Records (Gameface, Kids Insane, John Coffey), in Asia through Waterslide Records (Literature, Steve Adamyk Band, Bangers) and in South America through Fusa Records (Nitrominds, Adrenalized, Kacttus).
Music video “Racist Rash”
On May 23 we will release the first single from the album: “Racist Rash”. Album pre-orders will start on the same day. The video is shot by documentary filmmaker Harko Wubs. To give you an impression of what the video will be like you can check the trailer for the music video!
