Antillectual

After a day of seeing summer turn into winter while driving through all of France we are back home. This tour was intense (6.000 KMs for 11 shows) but we are enormously happy about touring down south/west Europe. We had an amazing time and hope to return as soon as our new album is out. Huge thanks go out to all promoters and especially to Outro Shows and Infected Records DIY for booking and arranging everything. And of course to everyone that came out, sang along, danced or clapped their hands! In case anyone has pictures or videos from a show, post it!

For this tour we made new shirts: “Books over Barcelona”. It’s been a while since we had an ash-grey shirt. There are some left overs available in our web shop (S/M/L/XL).
Also, since winter is roaring its freezing head we’d like to re-emphasize that we have warm zipped hoodies available (S/M/L/XL)! And the last couple of Ten Foot Pole shirts …

So, now it is finally time to take it a little easier. Touring-wise that is. Because we still have some fun shows lined up the next months (see below) and we can finally get back to working on our new songs.

We have returned safely from the land of pizza and pasta. We had a fabulous time with our friends in Onoda playing shows, checking out Rome and Bologna, and hanging at the beach and Autogrill. Thanks to No Reason Records, Indiebox Eventi and all promoters and people at the shows for making this happen!

So, now it’s time to sit still? Still not! Up next we have 2 things: a show in Capelle on October 11 and a 2 week tour to France, Spain and Portugal from October 16 on. Last weekend we had the last show of our tour with Ten Foot Pole. It was a truly amazing tour: there really was not one bad show, we made many new friends and last but not least we had an incredible time hanging with the people in Ten Foot Pole and Destiny Tourbooking. German SLAM Magazine wrote this review about our show in München, New-core.de took pictures of us in Saarbrücken and at Punkadeka you can check pictures of our show in Seregno/Milano, Italy.

Some more highlights: tour kick-off in Berlin, playing that crazy boat in Paris, selling out merch in Köln, an over the top crowd going crazy in Ljubljana, “Rio Rock” in Tessenderloo, 90’s reunion vibe in Den Bosch, TFP going balls out in their own shorts, getting new nicknames from Ronaldo Destiny, Mondays and Tuesdays becoming the new weekend, and so much more. Some lesser moments include failing guitars, amps and snares, and a van exhaust that needed replacement, but none of those moments lived up to the peaks this tour brought us.

Time to get some rest you’d think. But no, the next 2 tours are coming sooner than you think!
