Antillectual

Since our last update from the back of the van, we’ve played a bunch of more shows in Italy, some in very impressive places (l’Aquila – struck by an earthquake only 2 years ago) and returned home. Sadly, the show in Vicenza had to be cancelled due to the venue having trouble with the local police. We are very sorry and insist that one day we WILL play Vicenza, fingers crossed. The last show in Oberburg (SWI) was one that will probably remain in memory for a while: take a small town outside Bern, add two punkrock bands and a bunch of enthousiastic local kids in a farm’s basement, and you’re bound to have a great night!

Coming home was nice though, and playing our headquarter De Onderbroek with long time friends Astpai, In-sane and One Win Choice was very heartwarming!

For now, we have one show added to our schedule that we feel you should know about: on August 13th, we will be the ‘special guest’ with Rise Against in Düsseldorf’s Philipshalle. We’ve played with them before in Groningen’s Oosterpoort, and we’re very happy to share the stage again. Our friends Yvo and Etjen were recently on tour with them selling books for the Typewriter Distro and Yvo has been writing some blogs about it, pretty interesting!
