This song could just as well have been written this last week. Maybe it would have been titled “Welcome to Mare Nostrum” or something similar. I hope the inspiration to write songs like this again next year, or at whatever moment in the future, dries up. Us Europeans, the individual European nations and the European Union as a whole should get its shit together and end this humanitarian tragedy.
