Everyone has dreams when they’re young and everyone loses dreams when they get older. Some dreams are worth holding on to though. Post Teens is about not giving up and chasing the dreams you had as a kid.

Things you learn and habits you pick up in your youth define who you are as a person. The identity that you create for yourself shapes your lifestyle, your values and the way you live your life. Along the way other people will influence you and the path you take changes your life, but core thoughts and ideals stick with you until the end of time. Thankfully there are plenty of older artists, musicians and athletes these days who prove that culture, art and sports aren’t exclusively reserved for young people, even though we have learned to associate them with youth. Make sure you don’t lose your core passions and dreams, stay the kid that you once were.

“Post” is a fascinating preposition, as it often means both the end and the continuation of something. “Post-punk” does not only declare the death of punk, it simultaneously states its ongoing force. The fact that you’re no longer a teen doesn’t mean you can’t feel and act like one.
