As a DIY band it’s hard getting shows out there (and it can be hard finding out about shows around us to visit). FB events used to be pretty ok for that, but FB’s functionality (and morality) has gone done the drain, unfortunately. Bands In Town seems promising but isn’t on the same level yet.

For Dutch shows there’s now a new platform at calendar.askapunk.nl! Find shows you like and GO! The only way to make this work is when it’s as complete as possible, so bands and promoters, make sure to add your shows there, DIY!

Who knows, this might become the new punx.nl…
(Which is still online including a calendar, but, ironically, you can’t add shows to it.)
