It’s been 5 years now, but The Pandemic is still a breaking point/period to many. A farewell to music for some, a starting point for others. We entered the pandemic without a bass player, which made it a decent excuse for a lengthy time out and sabbatical from music. When Ben joined we knew we wanted to get back into it as soon as we could! We didn’t do any seated, online or otherwise compromised Covid shows and with the exception of a one-off show done under regular circumstances in Wuppertal in Oct 2021, we did not play live for over 2 years. Until April 2nd 2022.

We couldn’t do Friends First Fest in 2020 and 2021, but we wanted to do a FFF-esque return to live music, so we organized SHRED FEST at our local skate park Waalhalla. An event combining meeting up with friends physically again, live bands and skating. While a lot of people still were a little shy to go to live events without restrictions, it was amazing to see a lot of people for the first time in years, play live again and start a new chapter with our new lineup!
